St Francis puts the teachings of Jesus first and foremost in our liturgical style of Eucharistic Worship.
We are a liturgical church that celebrates the Eucharist as taught by Jesus to his disciples, passed down by the ancient church fathers and upheld by our Bishops today.
We believe in the Trinity; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe and confess Jesus Christ to be the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but by Him.
We believe Jesus died on the cross for our sins that we may be forgiven and have an eternal relationship with God.
Today, we are part of the Anglican Church in North America, a biblically-faithful part of the “One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church.” The Anglican Church in North America unites some 100,000 Anglicans in nearly 1,000 congregations across the United States and Canada into a single Church. It is an emerging Province in the global Anglican Communion.
The Most Rev. Foley Beach is the Archbishop of the Church and Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of The South. The Anglican Church in North America was initiated at the request of the Global Anglican Future Conference (GAFCon) in June 2008 and formally recognized by the GAFCon Primates – leaders of Anglican Churches representing 70 percent of the active Anglicans globally – on April 16, 2009 after a thorough examination of the Anglican Church’s leadership, organizational structure, proposed constitution and proposed canons.
Come worship with us, get to know us, and let us get to know you. You will be most welcome.
